6mo quicker at feeding normal?

DD is just over 6 months old. She doesn't feed for anywhere near as long as she used to (bf). Each feed used to be anywhere between 30- 45 mins but now she is generally done in under 15 mins? More often much less. She is generally feeding every 2-3 hours still. Is this normal as she gets older?

Also trying to switch to formula but she will only take about 40ml at a time and never more, can't for the life of me get her to take more, any suggestions as to how I can fully switch to formula?

Will she drink more out of a cup?

BF babies aren't used to anywhere near the quantities that a FF has to consume. If she'll take 40 ml I would see that as a feed and offer again after a couple of hours.

Chose one feed and switch that. Maybe DH could do the first feed as a formula feed?

Once she's got used to that, say a couple of weeks, choose another feed and swap that one. Don't forget too that she will be beginning to require less milk as her solids increase.
