Colostrum harvesting

Hi all,
please could anyone who’s tried colostrum harvesting help me out? I was looking at the kits in Boots, and it included 5 syringes and 2 storage freezer bags - do I freeze the syringes with the colostrum in them? And I assume the bags are to store the syringes?
I was wondering if I’m meant to fill the freezer bags with colostrum too but surely it would take ages to get enough to fill it, and then it would be too much to defrost in one go anyway… but then I thought the kit seemed really expensive to only have 5 syringes filled (but maybe it just is expensive). apologies if this sounds a silly q!

Thank you - I didn’t realise before that I could keep adding to the same syringe as long as I leave it in the fridge 🤦‍♀️ makes more sense now! Thank you though xx

It might be worth talking to your midwife, ours give out kits so you don't have to buy your own
