Is this silent reflux?

is this silent reflux?
3 week old combi fed - breast fed with small formula top up afterwards due to weight gain;

  • naps well in the day, laying down on back
  • starts to fuss late afternoon into the evening.
  • during the night I feed and hold upright/ burp, he falls asleep on chest but when I try to put him down on his back, within 5 minutes he is moaning and groaning, legs and arms In the air and starts to cry - the only thing that soothes him is feeding or sleeping on my chest
  • quite nasally at times

lactation consultant was putting the fussiness down to hunger during the night so introduced top ups but even with the extra formula he is still fussing when put on his back. Do some babies just dislike back sleeping only at night or is this something a little more serious? Weird it only happens at night.

@Rosebay2023
hi was wondering if you got any answers to this? I’m going through the same at the moment with my 5 week old. Constant thrashing and straining and uncomfortable when on his back.
