Hi all! My little one has had a rough time after his vaccinations and has never seemed to get his appetite back.
he’s 11 weeks now and he’s gone from drinking x5 150ml bottles a day (750ml total) and no night feed needed to struggling to finish 70ml in a bottle a few times a day (440ml a day yesterday) and waking up hungry in the night but still only taking 30-40ml overnight.
last night he ended on 470ml in 24 hours period which is really low for him. I think he should be more like 800+. He was drinking more than this when he was 5-6 weeks!
I’ve just got him weighed at the clinic yesterday and he’s 12.56lbs (5.7kg) which is about the same as what he was almost 3 weeks ago whereas before he was putting on almost a lb a month!
sometimes he struggles with gas and will cry off the bottle and not want it back, but other times he’s perfectly happy and just will not finish at all, is totally uninterested. Getting really worried and doctors/health visitors no help! It’s been 3 weeks of fussing now and I have no idea how to fix this at all and it’s consuming of my energy!
anyone managed to get over something similar?
