Was EBF and when we introduced formula congestion and sleep got really bad. What does cmpa poo look like? 6 week old poos have always been really runny, bright yellow, quite a lot when it's an audible (farty) poo, but usually every time we change nappy there will be something there
Is this normal?
Have stopped formula for a couple of days, but no obvious change. I don't want to cut dairy from my diet unless I have to.
Aware it could just be a cold, altho no one else in the house seems that ill.
Help!!

In Dds case Explosive diarrhoea, liquid which was escaping the maps all the time. She was continually screaming. It was many many times a day, as you say every nappy was a poo one. We used to go through approx 20 nappies a day in the first nine weeks as they were constantly full of diarrhoea.

Does your baby have other signs, windy, gurgling tummy, arched back or knees up to chest, screaming inconsolable for hours seeming constantly hungry but not really wanting it? Skin rash?

My ds cmpa poo was yellow, runny and smelled kind of cheesy. He had wet farts, poos where explosive and he was so cross. He screamed for 16 hours a day. If its cmpa reflux and soy allergy are also really common. My ds would throw up and it smelled like vinegar , which is stomach acid , which is not normal despite what My gp claimed.

Ebf poo was runny, mustard colour and frequent. Sometimes a bit mucosy. My eldest was cmpa and blimey he was hard work, crying and raging constantly. Skin was poor, eczema required steroid creams to clear. Projectile vomiting large amounts after every feed.
