Feel like I failed because I had my tooth bleached and still breastfeeding

Hello I got one of my teeth bleached internally today and breastfed right after, my dentist told me it was no problem. Now I looked it up and apparently bleaching and breastfeeding is a terrible idea...and I'm extremely scared. Any advice? :(

Google says there’s no risk, what do you mean “bleached internally”? Did you ask your dentist? And just one tooth- I can’t think anything would happen Op x

Thank you for your reply:) My dentist said it's okay but now I'm wondering if I misunderstood him. He didn't say anything else to me today, only when we discussed it last time. Internal bleaching means that the bleaching agent is put inside a tooth and remains there for a couple of days. In my case for a dead tooth that was starting to darken.

Edit: Where did you see that on Google? I only found websites telling you to not do it

Don't worry, the reason the internet says no to tooth whitening and breastfeeding is that tooth whitening is not recommended for breastfeeding or pregnant women. With internal whitening the product is sealed in your tooth and not going anywhere near your milk or baby.
Whitening is probably fine for breastfeeding and preganncy but no manufacturer would ever risk saying its fine or get ethical approval to test it during pregnancy/breastfeeding.
