8 month old not digesting BM properly?

For the last 4/5 days, my DD2 has had a tummy bug... the contents of her nappies is pretty grim, but looks to me like she is not digesting properly... it is very pale creamy yellow and curd-like. Anyone know if this will right itself eventually, or should i see a doc?

she is mainly breastfed... has a few mouthfulls of our food at teatime generally, but otherwise not that keen on solids yet.

It should sort itself out - breastmilk is the best thing for her.

Has she been puking?

a couple of times on saturday afternoon, nothing since. she seems fine in herself.

The research is pretty conclusive on this, Bodkin - babies with a tummy bug get better more quickly with breastfeeding (as opposed to taking them off the breast and giving medication).

Maybe she isn't fully digesting it - that's ok, it's part of her getting better.

If you have a good HV, speak to her instead of your doctor first, I would suggest.

thanks for the reassurance... i did think that the boob juice would probably be the best thing, but just wanted to make sure!
