Bottles and teats

DD is nearly 4 months and her bottles are still newborn. I don’t know if I should move her to a bigger teat size: if she was breastfed, then obviously breasts wouldn’t increase as she got older so is this a marketing ploy to make us spend more money, or should I buy a couple of bottles?

Depends, are you talking about the size of the bottle or flow speed of the teat? Or both?

Flow speed from the teat - she has 4oz feeds of usually 6 a day. Thanks 😊

If she's windy, unhappy after feeds, making a clicking sound while feeding, or getting frustrated on the bottle, or taking absolutely ages to drink - then up the teat size.

They get stronger and more proficient at feeding so a faster flow is needed if they're starting to struggle in any of the ways I've listed.

Or just give it a go and see what happens!
