Pooping during feeds

My baby has recently decided to take it upon themself to poop 9 times out of 10, during a feed. However, this means he ends up being sick if I'm having to change him mid-feed, but fusses if I don't change him right away. What can I do to prevent him being sick during the change?

I wouldn't change tbh I'd wait until the feed was finished.

Could you try propping up the underneath of the changing mat just slightly so gravity was on your side? You won’t need to do it by much, but a small amount might be all you need. I would also give a really good wind before you change.

My son does this sometimes, but he’ll wait, he doesn’t get fussy.
