Would it be a good idea to split breast and bottle feeding section into "advice" and "other" (?)...

Theres probably a really good reason why not, but it just seems that sometimes the discussions about the 'politics' of breastfeeding/formula feeding get so heated that it distracts from the excellent advice that is often offered, and might possibly put some people off asking for advice (I say thi because it did put me off a couple of years ago!)

this topic has been done a few times already hazeyjane. a search in the breast and bottlefeeding archives can help.

try taking a step back and read from an observer's pov. nothing said is meant to be personal. sometimes your perception of a thread is not really how the posters intend it to be taken.

hazeyjane, talkboards are a conversation. They go off at tangents. 'Political' threads turn into advice threads, and vice versa....you can't stop it. Mostly, when someone asks a question, it gets answered; don;t know what more you'd want.

Sorry didn't realise it had been done before

Now, I can and do do this Kiskidee, I guess I wasn't so good at doing this when I was a wreck of a hormonal new mum, struggling to b'feed! I have no problem with people having arguments, it's important to talk about these issues.

Yes I know that is a point Tiktok.

See i knew there was going to be a good reason why not, damn!
