CMPA/Tongue Tie/waking up all night!

Hi all. Hoping for any advice as feeling very desperate. I have a 1 year old son. Was extremely unsettled as a baby, lots of gastro symptoms, poor sleep, prolonged jaundice. Exclusively breastfed but was very painful and with a poor latch. Things worsened when we weaned and he was up every 45 mins in the night. At 9 months I cut out dairy as we wondered about CMPA. We also think he has a tongue tie which was never picked up. Symptoms improved and his sleep got a bit better. He probably wakes about 3 times a night but his gas progressively worsens through the night and he gets more unsettled. We're down to just night feeds now as I've returned to work but the frequent waking is getting really tough. I work 13 hour shifts in a busy environment and haven't had more than 3 hours sleep in a row for about 6 months. I'm finding it really hard to function at work and hate how irritable I feel. We are wondering if we need to just stop breastfeeding to see if things improve or cut out more things. Feeling at a bit of a loss! I'm going to ask for a GP appointment for both of us tomorrow and we have a dietician appointment on the 26th. Sorry for the ramble, will be interesting to hear from others. Thank you x

Sounds exactly like my DS who had undiagnosed TT.

Does he have any of these symptoms?

@SiouxsieSiouxStiletto He has so many of those symptoms! Now he's older he has a very clear heart shaped tongue. Breastfeeding was awful but we somehow muddled through. The only thing holding me back from going through the assessment is his age, and the concern that he would need a general anaesthetic at this point. What age did your DS have his cut? I'm very much regretting not seeking help right at the beginning. I did ring our local breastfeeding support service but no one ever mentioned tongue tie!
