I did have one initially but I sold it as I worried about its safety. I read stuff online about the ‘hot shot’ not being above 70°C and it won’t kill the bacteria effectively and that the NHS, WHO and other public health departments don’t recommend them. But after a week of horrible nights with feeding my baby I’m in two minds about getting a new one. I’ve seen many good reviews but also seen some bad ones about baby’s getting ill from it and the other reason I’ve mentioned above. Should I just bite the bullet and get one?

Yes! Total life saver. I never had issues over 2 kids.

Honestly ours was a life saver. We used ours over a year, DS now 2 and drinks normal milk. We never had any issues and even took it on holiday because the thought of having to prep a bottle from scratch was too stressful 😂

Even easier get a LARQ filter pitcher for sterilised water and just use your kettle for the 'hot shot' then you don't have another bit of baby kit you'll never use again.

The LARQ filter is higher grade than the perfect prep and has an in built UV steriliser.
