We waited until dd was about 15 months, never had any problems since. I would prob hang on a bit if I were you, but others may tell you to go for it!

I put bottles in the dishwasher, but even though they are supposedly dishwasher safe, I found the white ?teat surrounding ring thingy? and the lids got discoloured. So I only put the bottles themselves in now and wash the small bits by hand.

Go mad and treat yourself. I am one of those awful mums who thinks that a bit of normal muck is good for kids. Never sterlisied ds's bottles. I just wash them in very hot water with a special brush, rinse, and leave to drain dry. Not a single stomach upset so far.

Yes!! I've been doing so since all my 4 were 7-8m. No tummy bugs. Your dishwasher's hottest wash will be fine. Put the bottles etc away together in their own drawer/cupboard, and don't worry.

Started putting dd's bottles in dishwasher at about 6/7 months, never had any problems but as singsong says will prob discolour teats!

We used to rinse out their bottles and then stick them in the dishwasher from when they were about 7/8 months. Never did them any harm, but then I'm a mum who believes in a bit of dirt for improving the immune system!
