Cluster feeding times increasing

My DD is 3 weeks old and has been cluster feeding for the past 4 nights, however the time she is feeding for is increasing each night.

On Friday and Saturday night she cluster fed for 6 hours, last night for 7 hours and tonight she’s been feeding for 8 hours and it doesn’t seem to be stopping.

I read they usually have breaks in between but she only stops for a couple of minutes and is straight back on the breast.

we are getting plenty of wet nappies and she is putting on lots of weight (1 pound in just over a week).

I know cluster feeding is completely normal, but is it normal for her to be feeding for so long and for the times to be increasing each night?

Sounds normal to me. If you can’t feed laying down then get lots of drink (contigo travel mugs are good), snacks and crappy TV to watch.

Is she sleeping after the long feeding session?
