My three and a half week old is EBF. Everything has been pretty text book - started regaining weight at day 5, back to birth weight by two weeks and continuing to gain. Nappies were good until this week - he did a poo on Monday and then nothing until Wednesday when he did a huge one (looked normal, soft and yellow). Now he hasn't pooed since then and it's Friday evening. Every so often he seems to be straining but nothing happens.

He passing wind and giving plenty of wet nappies. He content at the breast and between feeds. I'm feeding him frequently and on demand. We've tried warm baths, tummy massage and cycling his legs, but nothing.

Is this normal?! If he doesn't go today it'll be only two poos in five days...

My son at that age only pooed every 5 to 6 days, right up until solids. And they were pretty big but didn't bother him. Its quite normal for breastfed babies.
You're milk will be changing around now so his digestion is adapting to the change.

What are you eating, and are you drinking a glass of water every time you feed ? If you increase your fruit/veg he might go more.
