Kendamil Comfort milk help

Our baby has been quite constipated and struggling to pass wind for the past week - sometimes going 24+ hours without a bowel movement. The GP has suggested that we switch his milk to see if that helps.

He is currently on Kendamil first milk and we are very happy with it apart from his constipation (he is a very happy little baby and all of his vitals have been perfect with the gp/midwife).

We wanted to switch to Kendamil Comfort milk as that seemed like a natural progression but we can’t get it anywhere! We’ve even emailed Kendamil and they have replied to say there’s a production issue so they’ve halted the sale of the milk.

I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if so what milk did you switch to instead? Any advice/similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

My baby was on Aptimil which really didn't suit her, terrible skin breakouts. My nephew also had issues with the formula milk he was on. Both my baby and nephew switched to HIPP organic number 1 which really helped (my baby continued to use number 1 throughout, it has all the nutrients needed, didn't switch to number 2). Xx

Could you try another brand or another brand of comfort milk? My little one didn't get on with kendamil which was a shame as I really liked the ethos of the brand. We used cow and gate then as was the cheapest in supermarket and palm oil free. Then turned out she has CMPA so had prescription milk anyway

We are going to try another brand as we think he definitely needs a comfort milk. We’re just disappointed as we really like Kendamil and it seems he does too. I just wanted to see if anyone else also had issues getting hold of Kendamil comfort milk and which brand they went for instead. We’re finding it a bit of a minefield trying to chose!

Comfort milk is now available on the kendimil website..i was in the same boat , i dont think i even would of started with kendimil if i knew how hard it was to get hold of and the lack of comfort milk..ive been needing comfort milk for ages had to keep checking website..i checked it today and theirv finally got it back in stock..i subscribed also to be extra safe so will get them delivered every month too ! 👍🏼
