Omeprazole and wind

My 5 weeks old daughter has been put on Omeprazole (5mg) due do very bad reflux.

It does work but she gets really bad winds with it... she just won't stop farting and keeps scrunching 😬 She won't sleep for long because of that and seems in pain. Still less than the reflux but not great.

Anyone else struggled with that?
We have tried Infacol in the past but I felt like it made her reflux worst! And dentinox didn't seem to help.

My LO is on lansaprazole and struggles really bad with trapped wind. It gives him a lot of bother and also affects his sleep…..always thrashing his legs around and struggling to push the wind out. I’m thinking of asking my GP to switch medications to see if it helps but from what I read, flatulence seems to be a common side effect of PPI medication. It’s so frustrating, you think you’ve solved one problem only to get another 🙈

I also tried infacol and dentinox and they didn’t help
