Afternoon ladies,
Can you please offer me some advice on how to keep my milk supply available for 3 feeds and how is it best to acheive this.

I feed LO at 7am/7pm and 10pm. I feel lopsided because he tends to only want one breast at each feed (I don't interrupt the feed and is he usually happy with that).

Should I feed him from both sides to make sure my milk is available in both breasts?

At the moment I feed him from the right in the morning and then express off the left (not going to be able to do this when I return to work), then I feed from the right at 7pm and left at 10pm...so both breasts are doing two feeds.

Can someone please tell me if I am going to still have milk if I continue to feed him from one breast at each feed? Or should I ensure he takes from both?

Thanks again for your help ladies..

By 7 months youcan mess about quite alot without affecigyour supply
As long as you are feeding from both breasts aletrnately your body will continue to meet the demand.

I only ever fed from one side for each feed and didn't have any supply problems.

I eventually only ever fed from one side and it took a long time for my other breast to dry up compleely.
