Question about breastfeeding with flat nipples

Hi, I recently found out I am expecting dc2. I breastfed dd for 10 months which I really enjoyed but the first 6 weeks were awful. I found it very difficult to get a good latch which I think was mainly due to flat nipples. I used nipple shields for a while which did help a bit. I am wondering if it is worth trying the Niplette which is suppose to help this time round. Has anyone tried this?

congratulations latch may have been bad for many reasons, i think you should find out what bf support is available in your area and line that up, ask them re the nips.

i had problems too and mine were rather flat. but they certainly aren't now! do they go back then when you stop bf? how interesting.
