My nearly 4 months old is getting more fussy with feeding lately, she will have the first half of the bottle fine, but after we burp her she will refuse the next part of the bottle unless I am standing up while feeding her. You can tell she is hungry as when sitting down she'll try and get the bottle in her mouth and the second she starts sucking it she screams and cries.
She does have reflux and is on omeperazole for this.
We burp her every 2oz, sometimes 3oz. Taking 5/6oz bottles.
Anyone every had this? Know why she might prefer standing up? She's getting heavy!!
I find she is worse if there is a tv on in the background so I always make sure it's off for feeding time now, doesn't tend to do it much in public (every now and again she will) only at home...
