Changing formula - how long to see effects?

Those who have switched formula and noticed a positive change, how long did it take before you started to see the benefit/change? I know they say up to 2 weeks but interested to see people's personal experiences with it

I've not FF but have cut things out when BFing and it was almost immediate.

Do you think your LO has something like CMPA?

We switched our baby from Cow and Gate to Kendamil and saw a change within 24 hours. She stopped being sick as frequently and she stopped throwing up entire feeds at night.

Changed little one from sma cows milk formula to sma soya and noticed a difference from the first bottle, though they say it can take a week for it all to get out of babies system

Changed from Aptamil to Hipp Organic due to constipation.
So far, we’ve had 3 poops in 4 days, whereas prior we were having one massive clear out every 3-4 days

How is LO now @Redw?

Redw · 01/09/2023 15:59

@Babytwodue he's doing good thank you! 7 days on the new formula and he's much less windy - he used to fart a lot we even had to do bicycle legs in the middle of the night to help him relieve it and since being on kendamil he's not done a single fart!! And it's not cos he's blocked up cos he still poos 1-2 times a day. He is sleeping better aswell. Still trapped burps sometimes but no way near as bad as before and minimal spit up. And I noticed the changes almost instantly tbh

I’ve just made the change from cow and gate to Kendamil and I think my little one (9weeks) is passing wind easier which is great but he is spitting up a lot more and his poo is much wetter… I’m not sure to keeping going (day 2 today) or to go back, he also doesn’t seem to be full on the Kendamil. Anyone else experience this?
