Colostrum - baby 5 months old

Hi All

I collected a fair amount of colostrum before having my baby which has been sat in the freezer since Feb/ March (all bagged and dated) as he latched and we didn’t need it.

Baby is now 5 months old and I’m conscious this will be no good from the end of this month. Is there any benefit to feeding him it now? He is ebf still, doesn’t take a bottle so I would be syringing it in. Feels like a waste to throw away all the syringes!

Thanks in advance

Add it into food when you start weaning at 6 months old

@rubyslippers brilliant idea, thank you! Didn’t think of that
