Anyone else taken fluconazole?

If so, did you notice increase in baby's sickiness? DD has been throwing up not more often but definitely more volume. I'm assuming it's the fluconazole but was hoping someone else with similar experience could confirm it?

Oh, should add, she seems well otherwise, a bit windy but nothing unusual. She's 8wks.

I tried to get it, but doc wouldn't prescribe it for me as I was bf.

Perhaps someone else will be along who has.

I had it several times for thrush when I was breastfeeding ds and didn't notice any increase in sickiness.
that isn't to say that it isn't the fluconazole causing it in your case though.
are you taking it for nipple thrush?

Fleacircus - I am on fluconazole at the mo, and I suppose DS may be throwing up a bit more, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's cos of that...
Cookbook - my health visitor helped me to get my GP to prescribe it - she faxed him this leaflet where it says it is ok to take if you are bfing. Just thought this might be useful for you if you ever needed it again

Thank you - I've finished the course now so will keep an eye to see if the sickiness changes. She really is in robust health in every other way though... but is my precious firstborn so I am tending towards the paranoid!
