Just wondering if anyone has any bright ideas on how to stop my little boy from biting me?? He'll be 1 in a couple weeks time and I'm not ready to wean him, but it's getting very painful! He does it on purpose too. He's having a bit of a tough time with teething at the moment and he seems to take his frustration out on me & thinking I'm a teether! I try to firmly tell him no (without smiles) but he just gives me a cheeky grin like he thinks it's funny to see me react to pain! lol Sometimes he does it when he's actually really in need of a feed and is very sleepy...but it takes a while before he gives up biting and just feeds to sleep. Like biting me 10-20 times and then either I give up & put him in the floor, or he eventually stops.
Anyone else had this experience? TBH, my daughter was never like this - very thoughtful of her mummy & quickly gave up any intentional biting (when she was about 8mo, perhaps). But my little boy thinks it's a fun game! So any tips or ideas would be gratefully received!
