I've just had a text from my friend who needs the MN help.

She has 6 month old twins which she is BF nad just beginning to wean - She has been struck down with a tummy bug and the twins are beginning to suffer - She wants to know is she going to make them worse if she feeds them? Or are there any nifty tips to help her through? She also has a 3 yr-old so any tips would be well received!

Best thing is to keep feeding them and make sure she is drinking plenty of clear fluids too.

alp - she needs to know it is important for the babies' health to continue feeding. That way she will pass on her antibodies to this particular infection with her milk - the bug doesn't pass on, but the antibodies do.
