Please mums help me find the right teat for my baby who struggles to latch!

I have tried so many different brands of bottles she just can’t latch properly I think I’m asking for the impossible here but the only teat she can latch on is nuk latex teats the problem is they’re only lasting about 2 weeks before getting “sticky” which is when they recommend replacing them on the nuk website I can’t afford to keep replacing them so frequently I’m on a tight budget and every single penny goes on what we need, I have tried the silicone teats from nuk that are the same shape as the latex ones but she can’t latch which makes me think it’s the flexibility of the latex teat that is what helps her latch so what I’m looking for is a teat with the flexibility of latex but the durability of silicone, impossible? Please recommend teats

I'm sure I've asked you this before but is it definitely not Tongue Tie? That would be the main reason for her not being able to form a proper seal on the teat.

@SiouxsieSiouxStiletto i think she does but it’s hard to get an appointment to get her assessment I’m calling every day tho hopefully I’ll be able to get a face to face appointment soon

If it's tongue tie it's doubtful any tear will help if you've already tried so many.

How are you trying to get an appt? Surely the HV has referred you? If not, contact the hospital directly. If baby is losing weight I'd just take the hit and get it done privately.
