Breast and formula feeding from beginning

Had dreadful postnatal mental health issues with DS1 hugely exacerbated by sleep deprivation so am really looking to avoid that this time. I'd really like to combi feed from as early as possible so I can get some proper rest! Not too keen on pumping, would rather use formula.
How early is it possible to introduce a 10pm ish bottle? Last time I had ridiculous supply and mastitis several times!

Any thoughts much appreciated. Or anyone with post natal mental health issues who chose to FF second time?

With my dd (second baby)I started giving a very small amount of formula once a day when she was around 10-11 days old.

I had PND 1st time and I formula fed, 2nd time I defo struggled again mentally but I think it’s hormonal for sure cos it’s such a drastic change to my normal self but breastfeeding actually made things easier and I got more sleep as we co slept for 6 months and we got really good stints of sleep even in the early days because of that. So easy to feed just lying down. He is now 9 months in his cot will Sometimes wake for a feed and I will then bring him into bed with me.
