Just thought I'd talk about something different for a change.
Did anyone see the pretend infant formula in Tanya Brannings kitchen yesterday?

I wasn't saying bfing should be a post-watershed activity - of course not! I am a long-term bfer and have no problems with doing it in public or seeing it in any context.

I was making the point that establishing bf often involves a lot of visible boobage and skin to skin, and they are just simply not going to show acres of female flesh and female nipples at 7pm. Personally I think that's wrong and ridiculous and there is nothing wrong with showing breasts at any time in the schedule but that's unlikely to change any time soon.

So the alternative is to show someone bfing in a discreet, practiced way, which is not representative of most women's experiences when starting off.

having said that, Friends managed to show Jennifer Aniston bfing in the delivery room without offending the censors - the poor mite never got another sniff of boob for the rest of the series mind you!

If Tanya breastfeed then Max couldn't keep running off with the baby and that would ruin the storyline lol, as we would all be ringing bbc hysterical going OMG that baby needs to be breastfeed.
