Food pouches

I have a 9 month old and pouches for her age just aren’t enough anymore. We do baby led weaning as well but sometimes pouches are just more convenient. My question is I’m wondering if we can move her onto the pouches that are for 12+ months? I don’t know if these are for that age due to consistency or whether the ingredients are not suitable for younger babies.

Thanks! 😊

They will be fine for her to have. However I would try to reduce the pouches and still to real whole food. Give her what you have for dinner etc.

Thank you! Yes we will definitely prioritise her having proper food, but it’s good to know that she can have the pouches when we’re in a bit of a rush ❤️

We did the same. you can get 10 month pouches, theyre more chunky but if they're used to blw then they will be fine

The different ages is just the consistency of the food. My DS has been on the 12+ month stuff since about 9 months as he is good with weaning. I tend to use them for dinner as it gives him a full meal otherwise when i give him stuff off our plate it isn't usually enough for a full meal for him

Just check the salt and sugar contents as 12 month olds can have more salt in a day than a 9 month old and you don't want to risk damaging her kidneys

Thank you so much everyone ❤️
