Does this sound like CMPA?

Breastfeeding my youngest who is nearly 5 months, his nappies have been greenish for a good few weeks but are now forest green and quite mucousy. He also has some patches of rash over his body which are quite subtle and I thought were dribble/sweat rash as round the neck and creases but they’re looking increasingly eczema like. I’m going to make an appointment with the HV but all Googling points to CMPA, do you think this is what it could be? Thank you

Given his age it’s unlikely tbh. He would likely have shown signs earlier than this if it was.

Is he teething? That was my first thought based on your description. DD always had funny mucousy poos when teething (it was the first sign a tooth was coming), and a dribble rash

Have you introduced solids yet @Sweetashunni?

If you are suspecting CMPA you could always call Allergy UK's Helpline.

Thanks all. Yes he’s dribbling like mad, chewing his fists and soaking the front of his babygrows with drool. Maybe that’s it?? Yes I assumed CMPA would have showed up before now but wasn’t sure if it could just come out of nowhere? The odd poo is yellow and normal looking, but I would say 2 out of 3 are green or greenish.
