DD needs to accept EBM by Thursday - is there no hope for us?

Just what it says really, DD is nearly 8wks and I have agreed to go into work for two days - this Thursday and Friday. It's only five minutes away, I've cleared it that I will need to come home at intervals during the day so she's not going to starve but her feeds don't yet follow a dead regular pattern so it might be that I get the call to come home and then she has to wait while I race back. Expressing is going really well but will she drink it? Absolutely not. Any advice?

there are some new tommie tippie bottle that are shaped like a breast with a teat like a nipple,i have never used them, but my friend she swears by them for when she is not there for baby, hope this helps

What kind of work do you do? Could you not take your LO with you to work & wear her in a sling? Surely they could be as accommodating as you are?

Can whoever has the baby bring her to you? Maybe loiter in town with her?

I have a friend who was also having massive troubles getting her BF child to take EBM. The Tommee Tippee nipple shaped teats did it for her too.

Good luck

No luck with Tommee Tippee but Avent bottles seem to have done the trick. Thanks for suggestions!

Also must confess to shame and stupidity... wasn't warming it up enough. Warmed it properly and she took to it very happily last night so hoping we have it cracked. Not terribly impressed with myself though!
