is there a prob with eating choc when bf'ing? i know someone who isnt and i wondered why... only thoughts i have is the caffeine content, or poss not wanting the baby to get a taste for sugar. are there any other reasons? also, if it is for the sweet tooth (gum??) reason, have many other BF'ers also avoided it?? tia

I mostly only drink decaf tea (because I drink so much of it) but chocolate is definitely important for bfing

When I first started bfing I had such a sweet tooth and craved chocolate like nothing else.

Bit late to join in but ho hum, what the heck.

IME if I eat chocolate to excess (the best way IMHO) then DS's poos are gross, green and stinky. Same thing with excessive dairy consumption. Life is not fair .
