Hi guys, I need some pre GP help. I have been having these bad dizzy spells and I called out of hours GP this morning as they seem to be getting worse, (plus I now feel sick)
She said to go to see GP on monday as long as it doesn't get seriously worse and he might prescribe antibiotics, DD2 is EBF and I do not want to stop feeding her, so what should I know before going in in case they prescribe me something that is not good for BFing?

Just mention that you are BFing. And if you aren't convinced by the response check with the pharmacist when you collect them.

Will they be able to check there and then? Only I have heard bad stories (on here, natch) about GP's, antib's and BFing...!

sorry - been off for a couple of days. Yes they should have a copy of BNF with listings of those meds compatible with BFing. Hope you get/got on ok!
