Very sore breasts, thrush / mastitis?

My baby is 8 weeks old, exclusively breastfed. I have started to get a deep burning pain after breastfeeding inside my breasts (both sides) and the skin around the nipples also hurts (nipples feel fine). It's Friday PM so cant get to the GP, is this likely thrush or mastitis or something else? Is there anything I can get over the counter for this - really concerned about the increasing pain and it effecting ability to breastfeed / effect my baby if it's thrush

Probably not mastitis as that isn’t really linked to the nipple and to the breast itself. If the pain is during and then for some time after a feed, and feeding has previously been comfortable, then yes it sounds like it could be thrush. Are your nipples red and shiny?
I think drops (for baby) and cream for you can only be prescribed by a GP.

Thanks for the reply
Yes area around nipple appears shiny
I've had this pain for about a month now, thought it was 'just breastfeeding' but the soreness has really accelerated last few days. Luckily, baby doesn't appear to be showing symptoms at moment 🙏
