DS 16 wks feeds mostly at night - how do I change this?

He is feeding almost 2 hourly at night and really good feeds too and yet I struggle during the day to get him to have a full feed. He is easily distracted and I have a DD 2.8 so that doesn't help.

I am trying to feed him every 2-3 hrs during the day so that he would hopefully stop waking so often at night.

I was thinking that if for a couple of nights I made him wait longer for a feed then he may be more hungry in the morning and resume good daytime feeds.

Anyone got any tips?

Are you keeping it dark and quiet at night?

Yes it's dark and quiet at night which is why he feeds so well, I suspect. Daytimes obviously are different what with a toddler running around and general daytime noises.
