Change in nipple shape, breastfeeding

Hi, this is my first post on here so please bare with me.

I've recently had a baby and I'm ebf her but I have noticed changes in one of my nipples since doing so. Its only on one side, the side she doesn't like. She doesn't latch on well this side but no problems the other side.

Basically when my breast feels engorged my nipple goes a funny shape its almost looks swollen one side of the nipple which bends it out of shape. Once I've feed her it's goes back to normal. I know engorgement is due to her not feeding as well this side I do sometimes pump to try and keep the supply up.

I googled it and obviously that's worst thing I probably could have done so now I'm thinking the worst. I'm going to get a doctors appointment in the week as all breast changes should be checked out but I just though I was ask on here if anyone had the same thing. I will add pictures of before and after feeds.

Mine does this one side and not the other, I've always thought it was just a milk build up 🤔🤔

I’ve not heard of this but I would seek support from a lactation consultant at a breastfeeding group as they will have more knowledge than a GP on this particular subject.

I was thinking the same it could be a build up of milk, I don't remember having the same problem when I breastfed my son.

Thank you for the advice, I will contact a support group in the week and try and get some more information/help.
