princessosyth · 18/02/2008 18:05

No they didn't (West Herts), found loads in the library a few months later. They don't even bother with antenatal classes anymore

Fab, Miaou - thank you!

Princess Was it locally-specific information that you found in the library? Is it still there? Who produced it? Can you email me anyway, please, if you don't mind? Thank you!

I think there is information in the library on La Leche and a local breastfeeding cafe. I will have a look and email you.

We got given this one about feeding when out and about. It's on an NCT site but was NHS produced. I think the other stuff we were given was Scotland-wide.

Am posting the link to the pdf as I'm about to go home and won't have email until tomorrow and I'll only forget...

When i had dd (20 months ish) there was an extra page put in the front of the red book which listed the local breastfeeding cafes days, locations and timings (and possible numbers for breastfeeding hospital counsellor).

Is that the kind of thing?

scorpio1 · 18/02/2008 18:38

Yes ours does, even tells you where you can BF, advisors etc. will try to find an e-copy.

scorpio1 · 18/02/2008 18:41

get a big booklet from these people.

I am in Cornwall, btw. Can even post you booklet if you want?

Miaou · 18/02/2008 18:54

I don't get that pdf leaflet in the Highlands (have lived in Inverness-shire and Caithness and not got it in either)

Caz10 · 19/02/2008 23:15

ayrshire and arran give out a very old looking badly photcopied sheet - BUT it turned out to be a lifeline, had all the helpline numbers, and times and places of bf support meetings. i almost chucked it out cos it didn't look important, but it saved my life!
