Inspiration needed for dinner

I have a 3 yo and weaning 7 mo. Totally out of ideas for dinner tonight. Husband not home as working away so just the three of us. I have bugger all in the house, we used up eggs yesterday. Had pasta last night. Urrrggghhh I hate having to always try and think of meal ideas!

Can you pop to shops if you literally have bugger all?

no bread? Cheese, tins?

What’s the problem with having pasta again tonight?

ReeseWitherfork · 11/05/2023 14:49

Beans on toast!

Hard to suggest things without knowing what you’ve got in. I have a list of about ten meals my babies and 3yo will eat so not a lot of thought needed, I just rotate.

Friend has asked if I can look after her toddler for a few hours this afternoon so I won't be able to go to the shops as not able to load them all in the car. Hence my plea for help!

Nothing wrong with pasta again, just worried it's boring ?

I have the basic tins, and I guess could do beans on toast.

We are talking about a 3 year old here. And you’re worried he may find having pasta two days on the trot “boring”?

We can’t help because no idea what you actually have In stock!

Thanks for your useful help, I was just hoping someone would chuck me some ideas on easy / basic / quick meals to give me a bit of inspiration. I just have no brain power today to think.
Was just putting it out there for a bit of an ideas thread but won't bother with anything like this again in future.
