My 5 month old is suffering with such bad reflux and it just seems to be getting worse as the days go on rather than getting better (well what I think is reflux) he does have really noisy breathing, gags a lot in between feeds and sneezes and coughs a lot he’s also started straining now when drinking his milk, and still has a lot of cradle cap that won't shift! He also comes up with a funny rash around his face and body after a bottle but this goes away as quick as it comes on so not sure it's a concern.
There’s so much sick after every feed and between feeds sometimes right up to 3/4 hours after when he’s due his next bottle! We’ve tried so many different milks including reflux milk but have gone back to kendamil as nothing is working!! I’m wondering if his poos are actually normal as they always seem really runny to me and look like three are full of mucus. I’ve put a pic in the comments if anyone has any advice I’d be grateful 🥰

Yeh absolutely could be. I'd go to the drs. Try the prescription milk and see if it makes a difference. Do they scream for unknown reasons ever?

The pics you've included look similar to my 3 month old daughters, but we were told it was normal. I was shocked considering how runny they were. Turns out she was super constipated and the runny stuff was actually bypassing the constipated poo. We were given lactulose which seemed super counterproductive, but has worked.

We also discovered she has silent reflux, too. Not a terribly spewy baby but did a lot of coughing, gagging on nothing and spewed clear liquid. She also always sounded like she had the cold, stuffy and a hoarse voice/cry. More unsettled at night, too. We were given infant gaviscon and she's like a different baby.

If in doubt, get a doctors appointment and see what they can offer. I was told that CMPA is actually quite rare, but it's 'fashionable' at the minute. 🤷🏼‍♀️ worth trying anything to help.

Sound like all symptoms of reflux but also could be CMPA. Lactose intolerance is rare but CMPA is not as rare. Coming up in a rash after feeding is concerning and would indicate some reaction to the milk. Apart from the rash sounds very similar to my LO he also started refusing bottles. We tried gavison, anti reflux milk which made things worse and was prescribed omeprazole which I refused to give him. Health vistor recommended aptimil pepti 1 and I have a different baby. Really is a process of elimination until you find something that works. Definitely go to you GP and they should prescribe as they do would like CMPS symptoms.
