Are the ABM on holiday?

I wanted to become a mother supporter, so I joined them for the princely sum of £18 (very worthwhile cause anyway). I then emailed them and said I wanted to train as a mother supporter and what did I have to do next, and nobody has responded in nearly 2 weeks.

I'm guessing there's no point ringing the helpline and dragging some poor BFC away from cooking the dinner to ask her where she got started!

Do any of the other organisations offer a mother supporter equivalent course?

Send the email again .... have you never found an email nestling in your 'Junk' folder that shouldn't have been there, or oveerlooked something, or deleted an email by mistake?

i've had stuff through from trhem this week so i should think there was someone there to do that

I've just become a mother supporter it was organised through the breastfeeding support group I have attended for 6 months which I will now be a supporter at. I didn't have to pay any money but the PCT have paid for my CRB check. Is there a group near you?

tiktok i've sent it a few times , maybe i have the address wrong. Thanks for the group tip - that's partly why i want to do the course. My HV wants to start a group here, which is great, but she has some odd BF ideas. I'd love to help but want to be better informed beforehand, and i haven't time to train as a counsellor. I want to be sure i'm not perpetuating inaccuracies IYSWIM.

I'm sure i used that address but i'm online from my phone so can't check my sent mail. I'll try sending from a different email account tomorrow. Really keen to get started!

RosemaryConley the LLL do peer supporter training too, round here it's done through the local SureStart centres. However I'm sure the ABM will come back to you shortly.
