Non stop breastfeeding

Im an experienced breastfeeder (been breastfeeding for the last 7.5 years), I always feed until their 3rd birthday. I’ve been through aversions/mastitis/touched out etc but this is re. my 3rd baby (17mo) who currently has a cold, constantly battling for the breast and I’m knackered!! DH is out the house 5am-7pm for work so doing it all on my own with 3 DC and youngest is constant- it’s too much now, I don’t know what else to do anymore, I really want to feed until 3 again but no.3 is a completely different temperament in that won’t take no for an answer, won’t be distracted by play/bribes/Tv/high neck clothes etc. What do I do? Tearing my hair out!

I can completely get that. My first was easily distracted as a toddler. The second was a screaming demon if I even tried to distract.

Sounds like it's been a long day. It's a Bank Holiday, you've been on your own with them and DC3 is a bit poorly.

If it is getting a bit much for you, do you think some gentle night weaning might help you to cope with them a bit better!
