Getting a bit desperate now! 2 weeks and 2 days into a journey with omeprazole for silent reflux and things have gone from bad to worse. My 10 week old is now refusing all feeds - she is hysterical despite being quite obviously hungry. She’s on 1.3ml twice daily (suspension so it’s 5.2mg).
I’ve heard of the “acid battle” with reflux medication but I’m unsure if it should continue this long. I’d LOVE anyone who’s been here to chime in.
How long did the acid battle last? Should I push on or take her off?
I have been totally soy, dairy and egg free for 5 weeks.
