Dry cracked nipples after stopping bfing

DD stopped breastfeeding around 6 weeks ago but my nipples are dry and cracked and a little bit tender.
Is this normal? Do I need to put lansinoh on again?

There's no discharge and I'm not leaking anymore.

I think lansinoh won't do any harm, but you might need some cream from GP.

Ugh I'd never be able to get past the gp receptionist.
