11 weeks old and wondering how many feeds he needs

My DS is 11 weeks, he's been having 7 feeds a day, (6 breast and one bottle)- he is just beginning to be a bit less enthusiastic about both his 4am and 7am feeds, and I'm wondering whether it's time he could go down to 6 feeds in total in 24 hours. Does anyone have any thoughts on how many feeds a normal (as in 50th percentile average weight gain) 11 week old baby would have?

he's a little piglet though

Mine is 10 weeks and feeds well over 10 times per day - between 12-16 at a guess, but I don't count them so not sure. But mine is fed on demand and it sounds like your LO has more of a pattern, so may not be applicable.
