Is my 2yo diet good or awful?!

Typically:
Milk on waking, but think this is being dropped.
Breakfast: weetabix & banana with coconut milk as allergic to dairy OR alpro fruit yogurt & banana OR fruit/ nibbles of toast with jam/honey that they mostly lick off
Mid morning snack: Banana or soreen bar, infant crisps or biscuits, or apple, mostly banana though
Lunch: COLD Most if the time cucumber, peppers, celery, carrot WITH vegan cheese/chicken mayo/Sausage/cold salmon/bolognese mix WITH Pasta/Couscous/Crackers/rice or HOT - scrambled eggs/ omelette with onion and tomato and beans with the salad veg as mentioned
Pudding: Always alpro yoghurt, fruit/ usually half an orange
Afternoon snack Apple/ vegan cheese& crackers/ cake/ biscuit/ infant crisps
Dinner/Tea HOT version of a Lunch option but different from what was actually had for lunch, and hot veg like broccoli, cauliflower, peas, sweetcorn...or chicken curry and rice, chilli concerned and rice, roast dinner
PUDDING same options like a lunch pudding
Milk before bed.....

Is this varied enough?!
Feel it's a bit repetitive?! But it seems to be all they will eat. They're not a fan of potatoes or chips.

Crikey, that's not as repetitive as a lot of other toddlers diets. Seems fine to me.

If you want to introduce more though just keep offering little bits of new things again and again alongside their normal food.

sounds pretty good. Maybe add some more wholewheat pasta?

Seems good! I’d personally switch to plain yogurt as less sugar, and not give biscuits / crisps everyday.

OhDeeryMe · 10/03/2023 16:37

Why was @DoulaBriaAI reply deleted?! There was nothing offensive about it @MNHQ @Hebe

Don't worry about the deleated post.

You mention quite a lot of banana. I wouldn't feed him more than 1 a day - you might not!

My only comment is the meals you list all seem very picky bits and not actual meals. Do you eat in a similar way? Or would your child maybe eat a meal the same as you sometimes?

OhDeeryMe · 10/03/2023 17:06

@CatOnTheChair the deleted post was a good one. I read it before it was deleted thankfully buy can't remember what it said. I'm pissed off tbh.
Child doesn't eat all of that in a day, it's a list of options.
We eat similar/ try to, shift work doesn't help.

My 2 yr olds diet is:
carbs, fruit, baked beans and milk- she’s so fussy. I congratulate you on your menu if they eat that.

Pinacalola · 10/03/2023 17:11

My DS has the same breakfast and lunch every day, and the same 3 dinners on shuffle in the evening (but sometimes opts out and has toast or cereal instead), only eats one vegetable but does eat most fruit, so yours looks good to me!
