Help! Baby will only drink ready made formula

Hi all, I have a 3 week old who has been slow at gaining weight. She is formula fed, cow and gate first infant milk powdered version. However she won’t take anymore than 40mls at a time and looks generally unsettled after. I tried her on the ready made formula because that’s what she had in hospital and I thought she drank bigger amounts in hospital. Anyway I have been giving her the ready made formula cow and gate and she is taking much bigger volumes and is much happier. The only issue is that this is financially not a viable option long term. Has anyone got any advice on what they would do? I am lost!

If it were me I'd try another brand. Does she have the milks at a similar temperature?

I’m reluctant to try SMA as I used that with my other baby and it really constipated her. What other brands would you suggest?

yes she has them all at room temp :) Thank you

I haven’t used formula so I am not sure if this is recommended but can’t see why not -

I’d use a cheaper formula and mix it with the ready made, gradually changing the amounts until she’s used tk the cheaper oneV

I'd suggest hipp organic. I switched to it from aptamil as it seemed gently on my little one's tummy. Anecdotally I've heard others have also found it gentle
