Infacol constipation??

Hi everyone my baby is 3 weeks old he has suffered from really bad wind and trouble getting wind up since day dot. I've been using infacol and it was a god send in the beginning now 3 weeks in I think it's causing constipation Hes formula fed he's feeding still very good but he's only really pooing once a day and sometimes is going a good 18-22 hours without doing one plenty wet ones tho? Has anyone tried gripe water is that any better? I'm so scared to stop the infacol incase he starts screaming again.

Hi. I have a 6 week old with non stop issues between reflux, colic and trapped wind. Im obsessed with him pooing and get really worked up if he doesnt go but apparently once a day is totally fine and Drs aren’t concerned if they havent gone for at least 10 days which just seems ridiculous. I would try gripe water that has really helped shift some of the wind. I would keep giving infacol as it isnt absorbed into body and HV has encouraged me to do this every feed. Im giving 5ml of grip water when very unsettled.
you could ask GP to presribe lactaluse. Mine has been on this for around 3 weeks now and encourages him to go again tends to only be 1-2 times a day
