Cluster feeding - need moral support!

Help! Baby has been cluster feeding for two weeks, mostly from afternoon onwards but the longest he goes in the morning is about an hour/ 90 mins barring the odd 2/3 hour nap every few days and at night. We had a tough start to breastfeeding but getting the hang of it now, but after this extended feeding frenzy, the last couple of days my nipples have been so so sore. I've barely been able to leave the house the last few days as its been really relentless. I guess I just want to hear other people have been through this and made it to the other side to give me the energy to keep going!

Flowers How old is your baby? Have you had their latch checked and have they been checked for tongue tie?

Sorry, they're 8 weeks. Tongue tie was cut at 2.5 weeks. Latch has been checked by breastfeeding group and consultant who both all said looked OK although it's never felt quite right on the left but we've finally got to a place where it works in the laid back position

Also, in general feeds have gotten shorter and more efficient but just very frequent

When was the last check-up? A tongue tie can reconnect if no/not enough after care is given.
And 💐. I have a frequent feeder, still, at six months.

The volunteers at the breastfeeding group have said it looks good and he can stick his tongue out well, we do lots of tummy time etc which he loves
