Reflux - when does it get better?!

I'm having a nightmare with my baby's reflux. Medical professionals just keep saying it's normal and they will eventually grow out of it. But when?! He's 8 weeks now but he was premature. We've tried gaviscon, keeping him upright, paced feeding, antiallergic formula.

We stopped having to use Gaviscon at 8 months. Until baby was almost six months we had to do shifts holding her upright because it was so bad but I know many grow out of it by three or four months corrected. Mine was prem too. Don't forget to adjust your expectations and timescales for a prem baby.

I know. It's hard BUT normal and won't last is the best advice I can give you. Every phase is the hardest phase because you're in it but they're all temporary. Getting support so this is all that's on your plate is essential and let everything else go so your focus is just baby and rest when you can.

So sorry, it's really hard when you're in it. In all honesty, my dd's stopped between 9-11 months.
