2 week old only waking once to feed in night?

Baby is 2 weeks and breast feeding, the last few nights she's fed around 11pm then not woken til 4am for another feed? Then wakes up around 7/8am for feed. Is that too long to go? Should I be waking her again in the night?

She's gained nearly 1lb since birth weight so obviously getting enough but worried about supply if she's not feeding much at night? Does feed every 2/3 hours in the day.

Enjoy it while you can! I had a rule never to wake a sleeping baby with my second. She was gaining weight just fine, so I left her to it... I think they know when they're hungry and will wake you to let you know!

I had the same rule. If she’s putting on weight and has good wet and dirty nappies then I’d enjoy it!

Totally normal with my two. They took the milk well at each feed and seemed to settle quickly back to sleep in the night too.
Possibly more luck than anything else, I too was waiting for more frequent night waking to happen but they never seemed to need it.

Mine was sleeping through the night by then, I ignored the health visitor who told me to wake her up to feed her 🤷🏼‍♀️
(My second was the polar opposite)

I'm breastfeeding a 5 week old and I'd personally wake them up, that's just me tho. I think there so little and things can change so quickly with a little baby. Don't have to do a big song and dance just a quick bum change and feed cuddle then they have had a top up.

Congratulations by the way!
